About This Service
Asphalt only lasts as long as the base under it. We grade for drainage, bring in and compact crushed base in lifts, and proof-roll it before any hot mix goes down.
Then we place and roll hot-mix asphalt to the right thickness for the traffic it will carry – family cars, delivery trucks or farm equipment – and finish clean edges so it doesn’t crumble at the sides.

With a proper base and sealcoating every few years, a new asphalt surface typically lasts 15–20 years or more. Drainage and maintenance make the biggest difference.
Cars are usually fine after a day or two. We'll ask you to keep heavy trucks off it a little longer while it hardens, especially in summer heat.
Sometimes. If the existing surface and base are sound, an overlay is a cost-effective option. If the base has failed, we'll tell you straight that it needs to come out.
Yes. Asphalt is laid hot, so warm weather is fine. We schedule around rain and cold snaps that would affect compaction.
